On a per-share basis, the Irvine, California-based company said it had net income of 48 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 82 cents per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 73 cents per share.
The provider of information technology products and services posted revenue of $14.53 billion in the period, also beating Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $13.98 billion.
For the current quarter ending in September, Ingram Micro expects its per-share earnings to range from 72 cents to 82 cents.
The company said it expects revenue in the range of $13.55 billion to $13.95 billion for the fiscal third quarter.
