On a per-share basis, the Evansville, Indiana-based company said it had net income of $1.32. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were $1.31 per share.
The results met Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of $1.31 per share.
The consumer finance company posted revenue of $1.42 billion in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $1.09 billion, exceeding Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.07 billion.
