WASHINGTON 鈥斅燨ne Marine aimed high last month when he invited UFC champion Ronda Rousey to be his date at the Marine Ball via a Facebook video.
Well, 4 million views later, his ambition paid off: She says she 鈥渨ould go for sure.鈥�
that she hadn鈥檛 been able to go with him to the December ball, due to her preparation schedule for a fight in January 2016, but since the fight has been moved up to November, she鈥檚 free.
She also says of Lance Cpl. Jarrod Haschert, 鈥淗e鈥檚 cute.鈥�
Unfortunately, they don鈥檛 know how to get in touch with each other 鈥� but they鈥檝e got time to work that out.
鈥淒o I call him?,鈥� Rousey says. 鈥淥r do I set up a time and place like ‘Never Been Kissed‘聽and wait until the clock runs out and be like, 鈥業鈥檓 here!鈥欌��
Rousey鈥檚 acceptance comes with a condition: Haschert has to find dates for the three friends Rousey was with when she agreed to the date.
She also has a warning: Haschert has 鈥済otta be a gentleman 鈥� [because] I鈥檓 not a first-date kind of girl.鈥�
Haschert assures TMZ that he鈥檚 a perfect gentleman. He鈥檇 better be.
