WASHINGTON — Police in Prince George’s County, Maryland, are investigating a homicide Sunday night.

Police say they responded to a report of an assault along Southern Avenue near Southview Drive in Oxon Hill around 6 p.m.

Officers found a man with upper body trauma in a shopping center parking lot. He later died at a hospital.

Our detectives are on scene working to establish a suspect(s) description and a motive.

A Prince George’s County spokesman tells ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½ the shooting does not seem like a random incident.
