WASHINGTON 鈥斅燭he Prince George鈥檚 County firefighter wounded by gunshots in Temple Hills earlier this month is now back home.

On April 15, firefighters聽responded to a “welfare check” on Sharon Road. Officials said a man opened fire on emergency responders who entered his home after he didn鈥檛 answer the door.
Firefighter and聽paramedic聽 suffered during the shooting.聽The resident鈥檚 brother was also wounded.
Two other firefighters were also hurt in the聽incident.
鈥淭hey were in the process of dragging one of our folks back and in that process they were injured, in the process of dragging and falling and pulling back,鈥� said聽Prince George鈥檚 County Fire Chief Marc Bashoor.
Swain’s family set up a 聽where people can give to a charity fund set up in his name.
