Police: Bodies found in Greenbelt residence result of murder-suicide

WASHINGTON – Two bodies found in a Greenbelt residence Tuesday died in a murder-suicide, police said.

Greenbelt police said a 37-year-old man from Greenbelt killed 44-year-old Meena Menon and he apparently killed himself Tuesday evening in the 6000 block of Springhill Drive.

The two resided together, police said they believe.

Police are waiting to release the suspect’s identity until the next of kin has been notified.

The victim’s cause of death is pending autopsy results, police said.
