A woman is dead after a shooting in Prince George鈥檚 County, Maryland, Friday night.
The incident happened at around 8 p.m. on Old Fort Road between聽Caltor Lane and Allentown Road in Fort Washington.
Prince George’s County police said officers found the woman with gunshot wounds inside a home.
She died at the scene. Her identity was not released.
FATAL SHOOTING: Around 8:10 pm officers responded to the 10100 block of Old Fort Rd for a shooting. Once on scene, they located an adult female inside a residence suffering from a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead on scene.

According to detectives, a preliminary investigation indicates that it was a targeted shooting and there is no longer a threat to the community.
