Man killed in Bowie shooting

Prince George’s County police say a man was killed Sunday evening in a shooting in Bowie, Maryland.

Officers with the Bowie Police Department said they responded to the call in the 15400 block of Empress Way about 7:50 p.m. Sunday



There they found an adult male with gunshot wounds, Bowie Police Chief John Nesky told ²ÝÝ®´«Ã½.

Prince George’s County police said officers found the man outside suffering multiple gunshot wounds, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police identified the man as 24-year-old Eugene Kelly Gray of Bowie late Monday night.

Detectives are also still working to identify a suspect or suspects. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment.
