WASHINGTON 鈥斅燩rince William County Police are investigating after “what appeared to be human remains” were found in a retention pond Tuesday afternoon.
Officers responded to the pond in the 7300 block of Williamson Boulevard shortly after 4 p.m.
Police say officers with the Dive Team were working to recover the remains, which will be taken to the Medical Examiner’s Officer for analysis and identification.
