WASHINGTON — A 14-year-old boy in Woodbridge, Va., was killed on Thursday night, and a 17-year-old has been arrested in connection with his death.
The Prince William County Police say that they were called to the 15100 block of Brazil Circle, in Woodbridge, at about 8:45 p.m. to investigate a death. They say that when they got there, they found the 14-year-old, who they identified as Luis Erick Coca-Crespo, of Woodbridge, suffering from upper-body injuries and blunt force trauma. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to police, the suspect also lived in the home with Coca-Crespo. The teenagers were connected by family, but not related.
Coca-Crespo’s parents were notified of their son’s death while on a trip to Bolivia. The parents are now headed back to the United States.
So far, police have not said if there were signs of a struggle inside the town house or what a motive may have been.
Right now, the suspect is charged as a juvenile and the commonwealth’s attorney will have to decide if he will be charged as an adult.
The police say the 17-year-old was arrested without incident. He’s been charged with murder and is being held at a juvenile detention center. Both kids attend public school, but police wouldn’t say which one.
Police say it’s the county’s eighth homicide of 2016.
