WASHINGTON – A Manassas city police officer in charge of investigations is on administrative leave after she and her husband were arrested over the weekend.
Lt. Stephanie Morbeto and her husband Mark Morbeto were both charged with domestic assault and battery.
Prince William County police said that a verbal argument between the two became physical, and one of them called police shortly after 4 a.m. Saturday.
Lt. Morbeto was hired by Manassas City Police in 2001. She had been serving as the acting division commander for investigations.
