WASHINGTON – Starbucks Black & White Mini Cookies are being recalled by Sweet Sam’s Baking Company because they contain milk, though it is not declared on the packaging.
According to Starbucks, people who have a milk allergy “run the risk of experiencing a serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume the product.â€
The cookies were sold in stores in D.C., Maryland, Virginia, Florida, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Ohio, South Carolina and West Virginia.
The product comes in a 2.0 oz. clear film package containing two cookies.
Starbucks says two customers with milk allergies reported having allergic reactions after consuming the cookies.
