WASHINGTON聽鈥� Four-ounce bottles of organic baby powder have been voluntarily recalled in the U.S. by Honest Co.
The Santa Monica, California-based company, founded by actress Jessica Alba, said users could get skin and eye infections from contaminants from microorganisms in the baby powder.
The Honest Co. Organic Baby Powder has the UPC code of 817810014529 on its packaging.
“With the full knowledge and under the guidance of the FDA, we’ve decided to voluntarily recall this product out of an abundance of caution,” said Christopher Gavigan, co-founder, in a YouTube video.
Gavigan apologized for the recall and said the product can be returned to stores for a full refund.
