Interstate 95 rest stop, Dale City, Va., on Wednesday morning — James Brothers with his sister Ruth Watson, his niece Charlene Watson, and his five-year-old daughter Chloe. He鈥檚 driving the family to St. George, South Carolina, from Brooklyn to spend Thanksgiving with Brothers鈥� other two sisters. Brothers is the baby of the family. On Saturday he flew into to New York from Texas. He says, I鈥檓 thankful to be alive and to see another year and another Thanksgiving and I hope to see many more.鈥� Ruth Watson says she鈥檚 thankful for, 鈥淔amily, friends, everyone.鈥� Charlene Watson says that she鈥檚, 鈥淭hankful for my family, friends and health.鈥� (草莓传媒/Kathy Stewart)
