Stargazers and visitors to the National Mall are in for a treat from 6 to 11 p.m. 聽This is the sixth time the Astronomy Festival has been held and the weather forecasts look good for Friday night.
The festival is located north of the Washington Monument, at 15th Street Northwest and Constitution Avenue.
This is a great family event. There will be lots of astro-objects to see in telescopes that will be available to the public for viewing. 聽Many local astronomy clubs, science organizations and colleges are participating so there is something for everyone.
