Perfect night for Astronomy Festival on the National Mall

WASHINGTON — The sky always has something to offer, and on Friday night there will be a very special and free event:.

Stargazers and visitors to the National Mall are in for a treat from 6 to 11 p.m.  This is the sixth time the Astronomy Festival has been held and the weather forecasts look good for Friday night.

The festival is located north of the Washington Monument, at 15th Street Northwest and Constitution Avenue.

This is a great family event. There will be lots of astro-objects to see in telescopes that will be available to the public for viewing.  Many local astronomy clubs, science organizations and colleges are participating so there is something for everyone.

Visit the for updates.

I hope you have been getting out at night and enjoying the night sky because it is full of planets, bright stars and the Moon. that . I am quite sure that it produced meteorites, since there were terminal bursts and debris seen by many.
