Service restored on Metro’s Blue Line

WASHINGTON — Service has been restored on Metro’s Blue Line after earlier fire department activity.

Service was suspended Monday between King Street and Franconia because of fire department activity outside Van Dorn Street.

Metro tweeted about the fire activity first before 4 p.m. and announced the line suspension around 4:15 p.m. Service was restored at about 4:45 p.m.
