WASHINGTON — Chalk it up to the bizarre but true. In a case that statistically could affect one in 13,000 pregnancies, a woman gave birth in New Jersey to twins, each baby from a different father.
The revelation in this case came from court-ordered DNA testing in which the father who was on the hot seat for child support was found to be the dad of only one twin.
, Judge Sohail Mohammed ruled that a man identified only as “A.S.” was off the hook after testing determined he fathered one baby,  but could not have been the father of the other.
