WASHINGTON — The new host of “The Daily Show” will be Trevor Noah.
The 31-year-old South African comedian tweeted about his new role.

Noah, who has been on the show with Jon Stewart three times, will succeed Stewart after he steps down later this year, reports.
Comedy Central will make the announcement Monday.
Noah grew up in Soweto.
