WASHINGTON 鈥� Monday night鈥檚 edition of late-night TV host James Corden鈥檚 Carpool Karaoke had one joke in easy reach聽鈥� with Stevie Wonder as the guest, the duo鈥檚 argument over who would drive was easy to predict. But the installment had more funny 鈥� and sweet 鈥� moments than that.
The 鈥淟ate Late Show鈥� host was momentarily reduced to tears when Wonder called Corden鈥檚 wife for a personalized version of 鈥淚 Just Called to Say I Love You,鈥� and Wonder鈥檚 adept British accent wowed Corden as well.
And, of course, there was the music:
They briefly discussed forming a new band before Corden dropped Wonder off, truly touched 鈥� by the ability to use the carpool lane, if nothing else.
