WASHINGTON —聽It’s been three years since John and Ann Betar聽were named the “longest married couple in America” by the Worldwide Marriage Encounter, a Christian organization based in San Bernardino, California. Now, the #LongestLove couple is聽sharing their advice聽with the world.
After 83 years of marriage, the聽Connecticut couple is spending their Valentine’s Day on Twitter answering questions about life, love and marriage.
Handy, an online home services company, is hosting the Q&A on its 聽and will be making a donation to an organization of the couple’s choosing, reports.
Here are a few questions the Betars聽already answered:

Ann: “Listen to an older person, whether you want to or not. We both learned that from our parents 鈥� respect an older person鈥檚 words”

Ann: “People would say we have wonderful, understanding kids. They respected other people. That was really fulfilling for us.” 鈥� Handy (@Handy)

Ann: NO! John had a grocery store and I had 5 kids to take care of where would you go? We amused ourselves with the kids and games.
