FRANKLIN, Va. (AP) — Norfolk police say human remains found in Southampton County are those of a missing Longwood University student.
Police said in a news release Friday that the remains found Thursday outside a residence in Franklin have been positively identified as 18-year-old Anjelica “AJ” Hadsell.
The statement released no other details and said the investigation into Hadsell’s death continues.
Hadsell has been missing since March 3. She was last seen at her parents’ home in Norfolk.
