Caps to be recognized at Nats game; Ovechkin will throw 1st pitch

Washington Capitals’ Alex Ovechkin arrived to Nationals Park on Saturday with his team, coaches and the team’s owner. The captain threw out the game’s ceremonial first pitch before the Nationals took on the San Francisco Giants at 12:05 p.m.

WASHINGTON 鈥� Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin better warm up his pitching arm 鈥� he is going to throw out the ceremonial first pitch when the Nationals host the San Francisco Giants at 12:05 p.m. Saturday.

Owner Ted Leonsis, all players and the entire coaching staff will be there.

The Capitals will be introduced before the game.

The 2018 Stanley Cup Champion Caps arrived back in Washington to a hero’s welcome Friday.
