Virginia couples tie the knot amid blizzard (Video)

WASHINGTON — While most D.C.-area residents cuddled up near a fireplace Friday awaiting Winter Storm Jonas, two Virginia couples tied the knot.

Jessica and Brian Clough from McLean, Va. planned to get married on Saturday at 4:30 p.m., but with the blizzard underway, decided to reschedule their wedding to Friday at 1 p.m.  According to , it was already snowing when the wedding guests arrived.

The Cloughs told NBC Washington they were determined not to let a blizzard keep them from their wedding bliss.

Unlike the Cloughs, Kaitlyn and Tyler Zagurski from Alexandria, Va. said they were hoping for a white wedding.

The Zagurskis exchanged vows Friday afternoon at the Blessed Sacrament Church in Alexandria, Va., according to . They then took their wedding party into the snow for pictures.
