DC Health Director Dr. LaQuandra Nesbitt is stepping down after leading the agency for over seven years. Her last day is expected to be July 29.
Nesbitt joined DC Health in January 2015, after serving as the director of the Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness.
Nesbitt joined Megan Cloherty and Luke Garrett on the and explained what factored into her decision to step away from the city’s government.
