The Paralympics began in the same empty National Stadium 鈥� during the same pandemic 鈥� as the opening and closing ceremonies of the recently completed Tokyo Olympics.

This Monday, the 4,403 Paralympic athletes 鈥� a record number for any Paralympics 鈥� concluded their time in Tokyo with a colorful closing ceremony.
