she is 鈥渧ery grateful鈥� to be welcoming a child with partner Tanguy Destable, 45, a French electronic music producer known by his stage name, Tepr.
鈥淭anguy and I are very excited,鈥� she told the outlet. 鈥淚鈥檓 just very grateful. I know it鈥檚 such a privilege and a miracle.鈥�
The actor shares two older children, son Aleph, 14, and daughter Amalia, 9, with Portman and Millepied divorced in 2024.
A publicist for Portman, Keleigh Morgan, confirmed news of the pregnancy but did not give further details.
Portman has spoken about how she grew up the child of a fertility doctor.
鈥淚 grew up hearing about how hard it is to get pregnant,鈥� she told Harper’s Bazaar. 鈥淚 have so many people I love who鈥檝e had such a hard time with it that I want to be respectful around that as well. It鈥檚 such a beautiful, joyous thing, and it鈥檚 also not an easy thing.鈥�
She also said she is feeling good physically, with 鈥渕ore energy than I thought I might.鈥�
Portman’s upcoming projects include Cathy Yan’s 鈥淭he Gallerist,鈥� about an unusual art world caper, and Lena Dunham’s 鈥淕ood Sex鈥� on Netflix.
